Our objective is to provide optimal treatment using the latest technology to ensure a rapid, comfortable and minimally invasive process, using an evidenced based approach.
We aim to facilitate ongoing restorative management at the referring practitioner's practice; root canals are prepared with post-spaces or cores to the referring practitioners prescription.
All endodontic treatment (non-surgical and surgical) is carried out using the latest equipment (dental operating microscope, digital radiography, contemporary preparation and obturation techniques). Small field of view Cone Beam CT is used to help manage complex endodontic problems, allowing us to maximize success with the early identification of problems. In 2005 we were the first Spcecialist Endodontic practice in the UK to acquire and regularly use Cone Beam CT to help us manage complex endodontic problems. Now we are in the unique position of having a range of Cone Beam CT scanners and dedicated IT support on-site allowing us to optimise patient care.
We are actively involved in postgraduate education, our clinical research is widely published, and we lecture at local, national and international levels. Our Specialist Endodontist, Shanon Patel, was a co-author of the Oxford University Press Principles of Endodontics and an editor of Pitt Ford's Problem-Based Learning in Endodontology.
