Shanon Patel

Specialist in Endodontics

Shanon qualified from Guy's Hospital in 1995. He studied at the Eastman Dental Institute (University College London) to specialize in Endodontics, gaining both Master of Science (1999), and Master of Clinical Dentistry (2000) degrees. Shanon is actively involved in the training of future Specialist Endodontists in the Endodontic Postgraduate Unit at King's College London Dental Institute, and is also involved in clinical research.

He has published several papers in peer-reviewed insternational scientific journals, written 2 book chapters, and also co-authored a textbook 'The Principles of Endodontics' (Oxford University Press). He has lectured nationally and internationally on all aspects of Endodontics, and has served on the British Endodontic Society council.
