Matthew Garrett is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and a recognised leader in managing patients with developmental and acquired dental anomalies, including those requiring multidisciplinary care.
Matthew is a Consultant and Lead Clinician in Restorative Dentistry at the Macmillan Cancer Centre, University College London NHS Foundation Trust. He treats patients affected by head and neck cancers and facial trauma. He brings this same level of expertise to Dawood & Tanner, where he supports patients with comprehensive treatment planning, implant-supported restorations, and rehabilitation following serious dental challenges.
In recent years, Matthew has also led national education and training initiatives, serving as Dean of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England between 2020 and 2023. He chairs several committees including the Restorative Dentistry Managed Clinical Network for London, a clinical led advisory group advising on improving dental care across London.
