A friend recommended Matthew Garrett to me. I had implants and crowns done. The implant procedure was performed flawlessly. I received quality treatment and thoroughly impressed by the skill, professionalism and care shown by Andrew, Matthew and the team. I must stress this was a thoroughly new and refreshing experience for me visiting a Dentist. My previous experiences were uncomfortable, especially 'the nightmare drilling and sounds' and the wait for it to stop!' I no longer dread visiting the dentist. I don’t know where to start really with this review so as not to sound too cheesy - quite simply Dr Andrew Dawood and Dr Susan Tanner have given me my life back. I had extensive treatment but can now eat properly and have even been able to snorkel - They really are a remarkable team - I was told before that nothing could be done as I had severe bone loss and I now have secure implants.

Dr Andrew Dawood and his team have been exceptional. There are cheaper options using inferior imported implants, inferior technology, and inferior technicians, but if you want the best, if you only want it done once, if you want it perfect first time, and if you want ‘that smile’ theres no alternative. I had a kind of complicated tooth and implant issue and visiting Dr. Andrew Dawood made me feel comfortable and confident. I have had implants carried out by Andrew ( whole mouth ) in 1 day I have been so impressed with the outcome after care was excellent by Susan on a regular intervals and I am still attending for hygiene 4times a year . As we all know dentists for some can be a frightening experience. With all the work Iv had carried out from having to have implants throughout my mouth through a condition that is called periodontal disease at the age of 35 . Andrew has been gentle empathic and above incredible. I’m now 53 and my mouth is comfortable and I feel very normal and can eat anything and look perfectly normal . He is the best in his field having my own clients that have experience very different experiences in other dentists . Anyone who has any concerns I would recommend this practice over and over again .

Highly skilled, caring and attentive experience. "Bone graft and implants" obviously sounds a worry but Andrew and Hannah were very clear and reassuring throughout. Very responsive on queries and admin/appointment team very professional. I wouldn't say "choose to have this work done" but if you have to its the place to go and the team to trust with your smile!

When an old implant became loose I was able to make an appointment without much delay at Dawood and Tanner - with Susan Tanner. I was feeling very apprehensive because of the age of the implant but the whole experience was excellent. Fiona Mackillop is extraordinarily skilled. I arrived at the practice after having consultations with five other very expensive, highly regarded specialists. I was terrified having been told that I’d need bone grafts and complicated treatment, that would be time consuming and involve a clip in tooth worn for months. I hesitated for 3 years as I felt my case was so hopeless, it really affected my life and I felt quite down about it. From the first time I met Fiona I trusted her. She kept things very simple and her confidence is very reassuring. I had a tooth removed, which didn’t hurt at all and an implant placed that day. The following day I went back to the practice and was thrilled to leave with a temporary tooth, that looked better than the original! I actually cried with relief because I had been so terrified, for so long. I wholeheartedly recommend Fiona, I wish I had found her sooner!

I have now had four implants and one extraction, and the service and support from Andrew and Hannah have been exceptional. As I said to Andrew after the tooth extraction, it was a non-event. Implants are a significant investment both in terms of time and, yes, money. I was referred to Darwood and Tanner by my dentist, and am very grateful to him and everyone at Darwood and Tanner for their work. Dental procedures, such as implants, are a major investment, and I have no hesitation in recommending them. To paraphrase an advertisement from a few years back, you're worth it, and so are they.

I broke my front tooth badly on a fork and was considerately given an appointment for the following day. Fiona Mackillop, who is a specialist in periodontics and dental implant surgery and fundamentally a fantastic dentist, repaired my front tooth to perfection. It required highly skilled cosmetic dental work, which Fiona is supremely good at. Fiona did an amazing implant for me, some years earlier. Fiona's dental nurse is extremely efficient, helpful and pleasant too, as are all the staff at Dawood and Tanner. I highly recommend Fiona and this practice for superb treatment and service.

I had my teeth extracted, temporary bridge fitted, implants fitted and temporary crowns fitted by this wonderful team. I was very scared of the whole process, but it went so smoothly. At no time did I experience any pain nor discomfort. The surgeries went so smoothly that I didn't even have to take painkillers the days after any of the surgeries. The team was thoughtful, attentive, respectful and considerate. I felt very taken care of. Genuinely good people, who happen to be fantastic at their job. I'm so glad that I went with this amazing team as I was worried having to get implants. But thankfully due to the great work of Dr Dawood and his incredible dental nurse Hannah I never had any problems, any discomfort, any worry that something could go wrong. As part of my ongoing treatment, I also see hygienists Elizabeth Simpson and Tannaz Joorabchian regularly. Everyone that I have met at the practice is not only really professional and very good at what they do but they are also very friendly and are experts at making patients feel at ease before any procedure. I discovered Dawood and Tanner some years ago after experiencing problems with previous root canal work. Fiona Mackillop was amazing and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. However, my recent experience has exceeded my expectations. I needed emergency treatment following a fall on holiday in Australia. I was recommended to see Dr Fiona MacKillop by my own dentist who advised the only solution to two lost teeth was a denture or an implant, which would require a sinus lift, bone graft and the very awkward removal of broken tooth. Not only was I totally reassured that this work, that everyone else had told me was complicated and possibly painful, was routine for Fiona, it was just that! After much research into implants, I decided to go to Dawood and Tanner. I first met Dr Andrew Dawood, who explained in detail the procedure. A few weeks later, I had the procedure. Everyone was very attentive and caring. I felt no pain and was completely relaxed. Later that day, I saw Dr Susan Tanner for the bridge design work, which I had fitted later that day. I came out on day one with new, albeit temporary teeth, which I was delighted with. I had a few more appointments with Dr Susan Tanner to design and refine the final set of teeth for me in porcelain. She created the bridge work like a true artist. My last bridge was fitted, and my teeth look like a million dollars. I can smile wide with no gaps, and these natural-looking teeth are far better than anything I had before. I would do this again without hesitation with Dr Andrew and Dr Susan at Dawood and Tanner.

I have had several issues (some might call them horror stories) over the years with dentists. Andrew Dawood and Hannah were easily some of the nicest, most professional and reassuring healthcare professionals I've ever met. They resolved my problem, quickly and with the confidence of people who know exactly what they are doing and why. Yes the treatment isn't cheap. But it is obvious where the money goes and what you are paying for. If you want the best, here it is. I'm now being treated by Andrew Chandrapal for some longer term objectives and it is obviously that he is cut from the same cloth and shows the same level of customer care and dedication to his craft.

Begona Marti has really stood out for me as an exceptional dentist. Having tried various other places and struggled with the experience / outcome, I felt that Begona offers a really brilliant service and is clearly an extremely skilled dentist - knowledgable, exceptional attention to detail, calm, explains everything clearly, zero rush and clearly cares about the patient experience. Particularly appreciated the approach of trying the least invasive solution first and transparency around treatment cost. I went to see Dr Andrew Dawood just over a year ago to help me with a failing implant. My implant was a very sensitive subject for me because of the way I lost my tooth. Andrew and Hannah sat me down and talked me very clamly through what was going to happen, what they needed to check and what our options will be after. They explained that I might want to get this over with as quickly as possible, but we should take a slow and steady approach to ensure I get the best results - Spoilers I did 😃 They were amazing! They didn’t rush anything. I had multiple appointments over the year - Removing of existing implant, bone graft, implant, check ups, grown fitting etc. Every single appointment I was amazing. They always made sure that I was ok and if I was nervous about anything I could let them know. The post care of each procedure was phenomenal - Hannah would check in on my either that evening or the next day. I had the best experience going to them. My smile looks amazing and it feels/looks like my own tooth. For anyone that is is anxious or want the best results - this is the place to go! They are all truly amazing and phenomenal at what they do.

This must be one of the best dental practices anywhere offering a full spectrum of treatments as well as advanced radiology and basic hygiene. Everyone on the team, from the dental surgeons to the nurses to the receptionists is professional, enthusiastic and cheerful, obviously loving the chance to work here. This attitude is very confidence inspiring. Andrew Dawood is one of the most highly respected dentists in London and has been a pioneer in using new technology (eg 3D printing) and 360 degree imaging. My family has been using this practice for more than 20 years and their care has been impeccable.
