Andrew Dawood is internationally recognised for his expertise in dental implants, particularly in managing complex and challenging cases—including patients who have been told they are not suitable for implants elsewhere. With decades of focused experience and a strong emphasis on collaborative, patient-centred care, he is known for helping individuals regain confidence, comfort, and function through highly personalised treatment plans and advanced techniques.

As one of the founding clinicians at Dawood & Tanner, Andrew continues to lead the team in innovation, drawing on the latest in 3D imaging, digital planning, and custom implant design. He works closely with referring dentists, in-house specialists, and lab technicians to deliver natural-looking, long-lasting restorations, even for the most complex anatomical cases, such as those involving severe bone loss or facial trauma.

Andrew holds an honorary consultant post at University College London Hospital, where he supports patients requiring jaw and facial reconstruction, and contributes to the development of less invasive, more predictable surgical techniques. He continues to be a key opinion leader in implantology, having pioneered technologies and workflows that improve outcomes for both clinicians and patients.
