Kathy graduated from Guy’s in 1981 and on completion of a Masters degree in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in 1986, Kathy was appointed Consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman in 1991.When Kathy is not at 45 Wimpole Street she will be working at the Eastman Dental Institute.
Kathy’s main area of clinical interest is in the restorative treatment of dental anomalies. She is the only Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry to have undergone a formal training in adult conservation allowing her to adapt techniques used in the treatment of older patients to the developing dentition. In 1999 Kathy took the position of Consultant of Paediatric Dentistry at the Edinburgh Dental Institute where she was also Head of Department until 2011.
