We were very proud to see our clinical director Andrew Dawood interviewed on the BBC Fake Britain regarding the alarming issue surrounding counterfeit dental scanners.
The issue was brought to our attention back in August 2012 on the HMRC website, we check the HMRA and the NPSA alerts regularly.
The episode also looks into radiation issues that we care about and look at in our maintenance routines:
- the radiation to the patient, as per the IR(ME)R regulations
- the size of the Field Of View and the importance of collimation
- the radiation to the operator, as per the IRR.
