We were very proud to see our clinical director Andrew Dawood interviewed on the BBC series Fake Britain regarding the alarming issue surrounding counterfeit dental scanners.

The issue was brought to our attention back in August 2012 on the HMRC website, we check the MHRA and the NPSA alerts regularly.
The episode also looks into radiation issues that we care about and look at in our maintenance routines:

  • The radiation to the patient, as per the IR(ME)R regulations
  • The size of the Field Of View and the importance of collimation
  • The radiation to the operator, as per the IRR.

All our scanners are state-of-the-art machines maintained and used by qualified professionals. All our centres are regularly inspected by the Health Protection Agency and the Care Quality Commission.
We take quality and safety very seriously. Go to our CQC registration or Contact Us pages to check the services and CQC status of our imaging centres.

This episode of Fake Britain is on BBC 1 today or replay the TV programme on iPlayer until Thursday 16 May 2013.
