We use a wide variety of adult (discreet) orthodontic brace types, and believe that the system chosen should be tailored to each patient’s individual needs, rather than using a 'one brace fits all' approach.

Though often thought of as a treatment for younger patients, orthodontics can actually be considered at any stage in your life. More than half of our patients are adults, and we routinely treat older patients, including those in their 60's and 70's.

At your consultation appointment we will demonstrate various alternatives and will help to guide you with your choice. We commonly use Damon, Incognito, and Invisalign – and explain each system and its own strengths and weaknesses.  We will always endeavor to choose what is right for you, and sometimes combining systems for the best and most efficient outcome.

Your treatment will be planned in detail using digital photography, detailed moulds and specialised x-rays as well as 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scans, where appropriate. We also have in-house facilities to visualise in 3D the probable outcome of your treatment prior to commencement.

The duration of treatment is individual to each patient and is highly dependent on complexity, brace type selected, the response of your teeth, gums and supporting bone. Regular attendance throughout your planned treatment is essential!

At your consultation appointment, we will give you an indication of the interval between the appointments to adjust/review your brace, and the estimated overall time-scale and cost of your treatment.
