Dawood and Tanner celebrate 25 years of Dental Excellence in 2017.

At the anniversary party on September 1, 2017 Susan and Andrew gave a speech thanking all their clinicians, the doctors, patients and special members of staff who have helped build their successful and friendly dental practice on Wimpole Street.

During the last 25 years we feel that we have built something special and we have been able to help a lot of people with both ordinary and extraordinary treatments.
The Dawood & Tanner Family is passionate about making people happy with their smiles.
Since our birth in 1992 we have been trailblazing with the latest technologies and developments, while establishing a caring team of renowned dental professionals and a training academy.

I have been attending Dawood and Tanner for some 24 years! My mouth was in need of a lot of work, despite the fact that I regularly visited a dentist (evidently not a good one though). My root canals were failing and I had gum disease! At Dawood and Tanner I had many hygiene visits and deep cleaning from Fiona MacKillop and then she performed surgery on my gums. Eventually I was rid of gum disease. Then Andrew Dawood sorted out my root canals and my implant. The hygienist helped me with teeth whitening. I developed a gap between my front two teeth due to the previous gum disease allowing the teeth to twist and that needed to be addressed with orthodontics. I had braces fitted to both my top and bottom teeth to straighten them to prevent the damage getting worse. One and a half years later they were straight. Next issue: my jaw was slightly crooked causing my teeth to wear down at an angle. To address this problem Andrew Chandrapal bonded my teeth and Fiona adjusted my crowns to create an even biting surface. Jenny Huntley makes sure my hygiene is kept up to scratch; I see her every three months. Over the years I have seen the business grow, adding more staff and more services, but still staying warm and genuinely friendly. They have some of the best equipment anywhere and they work as a team. At one point 3 experts had a meeting about my teeth!Yes it has stretched my finances over the years but I still have my teeth - I can eat well, they look really healthy and natural, and will continue to last me the next 24 years with help from the team at Dawood & Tanner.

If anyone is looking for a first class dentist, look no further than Fiona. I have had implants carried out by Andrew ( whole mouth ) in 1 day I have been so impressed with the outcome after care was excellent by Susan on a regular intervals and I am still attending for hygiene 4times a year .I would highly recommend Dawood and Tanner as Andrew & Susan are very warm & caring towards their patients

I was recommended to see Dr Fiona MacKillop by my own dentist who advised the only solution to two lost teeth was a denture or an implant, which would require a sinus lift, bone graft and the very awkward removal of broken tooth. Not only was I totally reassured that this work, that everyone else had told me was complicated and possibly painful, was routine for Fiona, it was just that! The sinus lift, bone graft and the implants were totally painless, in fact I never had any pain killers afterwards at all, not because I am a hero, but because I had no pain and only very mild 'discomfort'Fionas nurse, Emily, helped make the whole process almost a pleasure, the right balance of concern, professionalism and humour was what prompted me to do this review. I can totally recommend this team to everyone. Thank you Fiona and Emily!

I recently had dental treatment with Fiona at Dawood & Tanner, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.Fiona has a very warm and friendly approach that immediately put me at ease. And with her level of knowledge, professionalism and experience, I felt very confident that I was in great hands.Most importantly, I’m extremely happy with the outcome. Due to an accident in my youth, I have experienced a lot of cosmetic dentistry work over the years and as someone who smiles a lot and needed my three front teeth replacing, I was really hoping for a nice natural looking outcome.
